Reportedly Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has demanded stern action in an alleged case of forceful conversion of a Sikh girl to islam in pakistan. Captain Amarinder Singh demanded immediate intervention of pakistan Prime Minister imran khan in the matter. Meanwhile he also urged External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar to take up the issue with his pakistan counterpart at the earliest.

Furthermore Amarinder Singh tweeted, "Shocking incident of a Sikh girl being kidnapped & forced to convert to islam in Nankana Sahib, pakistan. Call upon @ImranKhanPTI to take firm and immediate action against the perpetrators. Request @DrSJaishankar to strongly take up the issue with his counterpart at the earliest."



As per report a Sikh girl was abducted and forcefully converted in pakistan's Nankana Sahib city. Her family has alleged that the girl was forced to marry a Muslim boy after being forcefully converted to islam. Meanwhile, a video of the girl at the wedding ceremony has gone viral on social media. Further in the video, the girl, who is seen sitting beside the boy, identified herself as Jagjit Kaur and said that she is marrying the boy without any pressure and however, the complaint only mentioned that the girl was abducted. It does not say if she was also forced to convert.
