Reportedly to facilitate the smooth flow of traffic during the Ganesh idol processions and immersions from September 2 to September 11, the hyderabad traffic police have imposed restrictions. Meanwhile the restrictions will be enforced across roads surrounding the Hussian Sagar Lake where a large number of people gather for Ganesh idol immersions.
Furthermore the traffic restrictions will be in place at several locations surrounding the lake from 3 pm until late at night, for the next ten days. Meanwhile the traffic police will be keeping a check on the key roads connecting Tank bund and ntr Marg where large numbers of idol immersion processions are expected to arrive. Further in their press statement, the police said that traffic restrictions will also be in place at Hotel Marriot (Viceroy) T Junction.
The traffic from Karbala maidan will not be allowed towards upper tank bund and instead will be diverted towards Kavadiguda cors roads, Gandhi Nagar T junction, DBR Mills, Indira Prak, and Domaluguda. Moreover the traffic towards Panjagutta and Khairathbad will be diverted via Rainigunj, Nalagutta, Sanjeevaiah Prak, Necklace Road and Khairathabad flyover. Perhaps at the Telugu Talli statue junction, the traffic will not be allowed towards ntr Marg and will instead be diverted towards Iqbal Minar at Telugu Talli junction and the traffic towards Secundrabad will take Telugu Talli flyover and move towards Katta Maisamma Temple, DBR Mills and move along Children Park, Sailing Club and Karbala maidan.
