Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS jagan Mohan Reddy said that every Mandal in the state should have a junior college. He stated this when he was speaking at a review meeting with officials from the education department on Wednesday.

He advised them to make an action plan which would make this happen in the near future. He also stated that high schools in the state should be scaled up to 11th and 12th classes and this should be done in a systematic way without causing disruption. This in turn will make it possible for junior colleges to be established.

He also suggested that the students and their parents should be involved in the plan. Then again there should be education in English in classes from one to 8 first and then include classes 9 and 10 also. He also insisted that the ratio of teacher to student should be increased. Therefore more teachers should be hired.

Ever since he has become chief minister of Andhra Pradesh YS jagan has been on a mission to revolutionise the state. Not just education but he is trying to implement drastic changes which bode well for the future of Andhra Pradesh.
