Sabde took inspiration from 2009 Marathi film ‘Gallit Gondhal Dillit Mujra'  in which the lead actor contests the election and pays deposit in coins, officials sweat it out to count the coins. Sabde is 28 years old, and pursuing Law degree. He told that most of traders in his area doesn’t accept the coins anymore. He further said he did this for ‘for a public cause'.
