Tanwar quits congress no invitation from BJP yet

  Former Haryana state Congress committee president Ashok Tanwar quit the party amidst controversies pertaining to issuing of tickets to candidates in state elections.

    Ashok Tanwar former president of Haryana state Congress committee who was sulking for quite some time now has finally bid adieu to the party. He resigned from the post of state Congress committee head due to allegedly not giving tickets to his preferred and recommended candidates. 

    Tanwar is reportedly had some differences with former CM of the state, Bhupender Singh Hoodha,  he was not happy with party’s decision of issuing tickets to candidates with reference of latter. Congress party was in dilemma of choosing either of the two, they preferred Hoodha over Tanwar, this further irritated the former, eventually Tanwar went on to resign from party post. In fact he agitated in front of interim Congress party president Sonia Gandhi residence.

    Later on evening in a four page letter he send his resignation. He intended to join BJP, but interestingly saffron hasn’t welcomed him so far, Haryana CM told that, Tanwar won’t be inducted in party as only honest people are permitted to join the party.
