In the view of verdict by supreme court on disputed land case of Ram Janambhoomi-Babri masjid, the administration has cancelled leaves of field officers in Uttar Pradesh, police and administration officers of all 75 districts were ordered to maintain law and order situation in the state.

     Additional chief secretary of Uttar Pradesh has issued a government order regarding cancellation of leaves to all field officers in the state, they were directed not to leave the district headquarters till November 30. This measure is taken in view of SC verdict pronouncement on Ayodhya case, and also due to festivity. In the Ayodhya disputed case the SC has reserved its verdict, and may pronounced it my mid November.

    Police Superintendents of all districts were ordered to maintain law and order and communal harmony, section 144 was imposed in Ayodhya to ensure peace, and to prevent any untoward incident in the temple town till December 10. Apart from deploying Para military forces in sensitive districts, Anti terrorist squad and bomb disposable squad is also posted at disputed site. Extra police force will be deployed in districts of Varanasi, Prayagraj, and Gorakhpur.
