The state of haryana is voting today for choosing next government, brisk voting is underway in the state with 51% till 4 PM, some prominent names are battling the elections as their fate will be decided by the voters.
As many as 11,69 candidates are in the foray for 90 assembly seats in the state, BJP has set a target of winning 75 seats by its own, the main contest is between BJP and Congress. State current chief minister manohar lal khattar is battling from Karnal seat, he won this seat comprehensively in 2014 assembly elections, wrestlers Yogeshwar Dutt and Babita Phogat are contesting on BJP’S ticket from Baroda seat in Panipat, and Dari seat respectively, former hockey team captain sandeep singh is also contesting from Pehowa on saffron party ticket.
Former actress and TikTok star Sonali Phogat on BJP ticket is pitched against Kuldeep Bishnoi in his stronghold of Adampur. Congress star campaigner and former CM bhupinder singh Hooda is contesting from Garhi sampla-kiloi constituency which he won two times earlier.
Other prominent leaders from different parties contesting in elections are Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala from Kaithal, and JJP chief Dushyant Chautala. The results will be declared on 24 of this month.
