Fire that broke out in private hospital in
hyderabad killing a baby in incubator,
police made a major breakthrough in the case arresting the Managing Director of the hospital. They also booked cases against four employees of the hospital for their negligence.
On
friday police arrested the Managing Director of the private hospital after
fire incident killed a five months old baby, according to
police, baby was electrocuted in an incubator. The
police also filed cases against four employees of hospital for their sheer negligence.
Managing Director of Shine hospitals VSK Reddy was arrested on Friday. As per
police statement, the hospital management was responsible for death of five months old baby electrocuted inside an incubator.
police further informed that hospital
fire fighting equipment were obsolete and in fact weren’t working at all.
MLC Ramachander Rao said that, this is second such incident in the hospital since its inception, how can the authorities issue license to these hospitals which doesn’t hire or recruit trained and professional workforce, inquiry should be initiated, and
government should take full responsibility, he concluded. Tuesday’s
fire incident in hospital has alerted the concerned officials, stringent action should taken against those hospitals who turns blind eye on safety issues.
