prime minister narendra modi showed interest in Spandana program introduced by chief minister YS jagan Mohan Reddy and asked details of the programme. modi had visited the state stall during the exhibition held at vadodara on the occasion of ekta Diwas and visited the State Stall at the police Technical Exhibition.
G Pala Raju, IPS headed the team from the state and briefed the prime minister about the technology being used in the State and said about Spandana and weekly off to the police. The prime minister reportedly asked to give a detailed note about Spandana and how the petitions are received and disposed of giving a receipt and deadline.
The State government is esctatic about the Prime Minister's interest on the Program. The offices of chief minister and DGP have released two press releases about this. For those who do not know, Spandana has been a programme started by chief minister where complaints would be received by officials every week and a receipt would be given that the grievance was received and date would be given as to when it will be addressed.
