Reportedly Airtel is giving reliance a bit of its own medicine by throwing open unlimited broadband plans at competitive tariffs. Meanwhile the service provider has rebranded its broadband service as Xstream Fiber. Furthermore existing customers with data capped plans can avail the unlimited plans by paying an additional ₹299 per month. For example, the company’s basic broadband plan is charged at ₹799 per month at which the customer enjoys 150GB at 100Mbps speed and more importantly, the company is providing them with the Airtel Xstream OTT facility free of charge, which will enable them to watch the regular content on the app on your TV.

Further there is a top-up facility within the My jio app. reliance is yet to distribute the setup box which it had indicated will be part of the plan and currently the company is possibly testing the devices before delivering to the customers.
