Opposition Parties headed by tdp and janasena are trying their level best to defame the current government using the Sand shortage issue. However, it appears like they are trying to use the issue only for their political gains. But, the facts and ground situation are completely different.

The usual practice is that small and marginal farmers from the drought-prone Anantapur, prakasam, srikakulam and Vizianagaram districts would migrate to cities in search of livelihood and it goes without saying that they become forced construction laborers. However, due to the surplus of rains this year, reverse migration is there to witness for everyone. They are happy with the rains and Rythu Bharosa being offered by the Government.

So, they are not bothered about the Sand Shortage. Moreover, With rivers flowing incessantly, there is no possibility of sand mining from the river beds. Sand can only be mined only if the rivers stop flowing and sand dunes emerge from the river bed. It is not only dangerous but life-threatening should one attempt to mine sand from flowing rivers. This situation is temporary but the Opposition Parties are trying to use that to defame the Government.
