supreme court of india had delivered a historic judgment in the 70 years old Rama Janmabhoomi case. The Apex court ruled in favor of ram Janmabhoomi Trust and allowed it to take control of disputed land. At the same time, the court pacified the Muslim community instructing the government to give an alternate land of five acres in three months to build a mosque.

However, the Sunni Waqf Board said that it is not happy with the verdict and also announced that it will seek a review of the judgment. "The ayodhya verdict has a lot of contradictions. We will seek a review as we are not satisfied with the verdict," the board's lawyer Zafaryab Jilani said. It will take whatever legal recourse is possible, he said.

It is interesting to note that all the Muslim organizations have called for the people to maintain calm and not to resort to any protests over the issue. "Muslims in india are not so downtrodden that they can't get 5 acres of land for a mosque. It was about our legal rights. We weren't begging for land," hyderabad mp asaduddin owaisi announced.
