The State government had announced one more incentive to the Christians in the State. A GO was issued to enhance the financial assistance to christian Pilgrims visiting the Holy Land of Jerusalem and other places of worship.
The Minority Welfare Department Principal Secretary Mohd Ilyas Rizvi has issued GO over the enhanced financial assistance in GO MS 74 on tuesday, november 19. The government enhanced the financial aid from Rs 40,000 to Rs 60,000 for the pilgrims if their annual income is up to Rs.3.00 lakhs. The amount has increased from Rs.20,000 to Rs.30,000 if the annual income of the pilgrims is above Rs 3 lakh.
YS Family is converted to christianity several years ago. So, the community stood firmly behind ysr and Jagan. So, jagan Reddy is keen on helping them in all possible ways and in the process, it will help him consolidate their support. The Opposition fears exactly that.
