Cyberabad police have cracked the murder of veterinary doctor P priyanka Reddy (26), within 24 hours of her burnt body being found near an under the bridge of Chatanpally village near the ORR at shamshabad on thursday morning. They have arrested four people including a lorry driver, cleaner and two others - all under the age group of 20 -25 years of age, were arrested for the rape and murder of the victim.
a lorry driver named Mohammad Pasha from Narayanpet in MahababubNagar district was the main suspect. A driver named Jollu naveen from Gudigandla, cleaner Chinnthakunta Chennakesavulu, one more cleaner named Jollu Siva we also arrested along with Mohammad Pasha. One of them was said to be a minor also.
On the directions of district collector of ranga reddy, the local MRO, Pandu Naik, who is having magisterial powers, rushed to shamshabad police station, as the demonstrators did not allow police to move four accused-to the magistrate court. He has granted 14 days of remand to the four accused. Even the doctors who have to conduct medical tests on accused, before producing to the court, were brought to the police station.
