He held a meeting with the rtc staff, representing all the 97 depots, at pragathi Bhavan on sunday and announced a slew of sops which included payment of salaries during the strike period and also enhancing the retirement age to 60 years.

 

He directed rtc officials to pay the september salary to the employees on 2nd December. He also promised to pay salaries to the rtc employees for the 52 days strike period. He also ordered officials to provide necessary facilities for female employees in all the bus depots in the state and assured to solve all the problems faced by the female employees.

 

The chief minister further announced that the bonus would be given to the rtc employees like how the singareni employees were given if they push rtc into profits. kcr announced Rs 1 lakh to the rtc employees, who died during the strike and a job for the family member of the deceased worker either in the rtc or in government services. He promised to do that in just eight days.
