Reportedly the shamshabad police have encountered all the four accused in brutal rape and murder of hyderabad veterinary doctor Disha. According to media reports, while cops are trying to recreate the crime scene at shadnagar, the four accused had reportedly tried to escape and police had fired at the culprits at NH-44. All the four accused have reportedly died. According to police sources, the exchange of fire took place between 3.30 a.m. and 5 a.m. near the Chatanpally underpass, where the charred body of the vet was found and the accused tried to flee when they were taken to Chatanpally to reconstruct the crime scene.
The accused killed in the encounter are Md Arif (26), the lorry driver and Jollu Naveen, Jollu shiva and Ch Chennakeshavulu, all 20 years of age. Furthermore Mohammad Areef Pasha, Jollu shiva, Jollu naveen Kumar and Chintakunta Chenna Keshavulu were the four culprits in this heinous crime on 26 year old vet doctor and it was on november 27 that the doctor Disha was brutally gang-raped and killed. Apparently Nakshatra colony residents in shamshabad where Disha family members reside welcomed the police encounter. They celebrated the encounter by distributing sweets and burning crackers.
Further they said this will build confidence among women across the nation and with encounter police created bharosa to the women to go out and lead their life without any fear. Moreover rekha Sharma, National Commission of women said as a common citizen I am feeling happy that this was the end we all wanted for them. But this end was supposed to be through the legal system. It should have happened through proper channels.
