visakhapatnam sources stated that the son of former telugu desam party mla and ex-minister Bandaru Sathyanarayana , Appalanaidu was involved in a car accident, where one person was seriously injured on saturday night in Visakhapatnam. Appalanaidu is also the brother-in-law of srikakulam mp K Rammohan Naidu. Meanwhile as per reports, Appalanaidu was driving the car at a high speed when he was on the ramakrishna Beach Road and hit a biker who was food delivery executive.

Furthermore after hitting the bike, the SUV vehicle got onto the footpath, hit the statue of Potti Sriramulu in the side of the road, and came to a halt and the statue was slightly damaged with the impact. Perhaps the food delivery executive was seriously injured and was taken to king George's Hospital. Perhaps as per local witnesses, Appalanaidu was said to be driving in an inebriated condition and at a very high speed on saturday night after returning from a party. After hitting the motorist, he lost control and veered off onto the footpath. Apparently police have identified the other two as praveen and Maurya, one of whom is said to be the son of a retired police officer, who were in the car. They later managed to have escaped from the scene and abandoned the car.

Moreover visakhapatnam police are yet to confirm these details and a case has been registered at the local police station. After registering the case, police reached the spot, seized the car, and began investigating. Perhaps the police are on the lookout for Appalanaidu and his friends who are yet to be traced.
