andhra pradesh chief minister YS jagan mohan reddy had announced that andhra pradesh may have three capitals in the future for the decentralization of Development. "Amaravati may be the Legislative capital, kurnool may be the Judicial capital, and vishakapatnam may be the Executive capital," the chief minister said.

That means uttarandhra, Kostha, and rayalaseema will get one capital each. The assembly and government offices that are already operating out of amaravati will continue. kurnool will get the high court while vishakapatnam will be the financial capital due to its cosmopolitan nature.  The chief minister made this announcement on the final day of the Winter Session of andhra pradesh assembly today.

Ever since jagan came to Power, there were speculations about the change in the capital. jagan has been alleging massive irregularities in amaravati Land Pooling. Today in the assembly, the government alleged that tdp leaders and their binamis bought 4706 acres of land in the capital even before the announcement.   Jagan government even appointed a committee to decide about the future of Amaravati.  The report is yet to be submitted to the State Government. Once it happens, the three capitals are likely to be announced officially.
