andhra pradesh chief minister YS Jagan mohan reddy is barely Six Months old in Power but has become an inspiration to leaders of many states with his style of ruling and good governance. He has set precedent and led path and other states have followed suit. Here are the Six Historic Decisions he took in these Six Months:
1. cabinet Composition:
The chief minister appointed five Deputy CM's one each from scheduled caste, Scheduled Tribe, backward, minority and Kapu communities. The move was a thoughtful one in order to increase the representation of all communities. He also gave 50% representation to BCs in his Cabinet.
2. Three Capitals Proposal:
To decentralize the administration, Jagan announced the proposal of making three capitals in the state. A panel was constituted and it recommended that ap can have three capitals - Executive capital in visakhapatnam, Judicial capital in kurnool and Legislative capital in Amaravati.
3. Disha Act:
Following the horrific Rape and murder of Disha in telangana, the ap government has come up with ap Disha Act, which is the first in the country to give immediate stringent punishment to those who rape women. Many states are trying to replicate the same in their states.
4. Four Lakh Jobs Provided In AP:
Four lakh jobs were provided to unemployed youth within six months of the formation of the congress PARTY' target='_blank' title='ysr congress-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>ysr congress Party government. Appointment letters were given to 1,28,858 unemployed to join for the job in the village secretariat and all of them started working in the secretariat office.
5. Reverse Tendering:
Eliminate the Corruption and Bringing Transparency in government Contracts are the key promises made by Jagan before coming to Power. The government had started yielding fruitful results by implementing reverse tendering in polavaram and several other construction schemes. The state government has saved Rs 1,400 crore by implementing reverse tendering on various projects till now.
