The Annular Solar Eclipse will take place on december 26, 2019, and during this eclipse, the edge of the sun will be visible as a bright ring around the moon. As we are nearing the fag end of 2019, everyone expects a celestial treat. This Solar Eclipse will be visible in indiasingaporesaudi arabiaaustralia, and the Philippines. The moon is farther from the earth than the usual and once it will cross the sun, we can see a negative shadow that will look like a ring of fire. This is called an Annular Eclipse. 

 

The twenty-sixth day of december this year is all set to have the last solar eclipse of the Gregorian calendar. The Solar eclipse will be partially visible in india, where people have certain beliefs pertaining to their religions and hence, follow several rituals till the end of eclipse.
 

Some of the do's and don'ts during solar eclipse are listed below. It is advisable to stay indoors as long as the eclipse is there. Put grass or Tulsi leaves in  vessels with food grains or edible items. One can chant sacred verses worshipping sun and take bath after eclipse and pregnant women must be staying indoor.

It is said not to cook food when the eclipse is happening, eat or drink water during eclipse or eat leftover food.  Till we take a bath after the eclipse, we are not supposed to eat. Most importantly, people are advised not to look at the sun with naked eyes.
