andhra pradesh cabinet which sat a short while ago to decide the future of amaravati has deferred its decision. After discussing the GN Rao Committee for around two hours, the cabinet had decided to wait for the report of Boston Consulting Group on january 3rd. The government will appoint a High Power Committee which will look into both the reports and will make its recommendations to the Government.



The government is planning to convene a Special assembly Session in january Third Week and will go forward about the three capitals plan.  This decision of the chief minister has come as a surprise because everyone is expecting the cabinet to ratify the three capitals' decision. Jagan's Yes-man, Vijaya Sai reddy himself went to vishakapatnam to supervise the arrangements. Sources say that the GN Rao Committee does not have legal sanctity and so, the government wants to appoint the High Power Committee, according to the law and past conventions. Also, the government wants to take the steam out of amaravati farmers Agitation with this delay.
