Accordingly major fire broke out in the indian oil petrol pump at Shaikpet on tuesday morning. According to eye witnesses, the fire broke out from a diesel car which was loading its fuel from the bunk. As per reports, the fire came from the car that eventually spread in no time and the driver who got down to load the fuel escaped and the workers of the petrol pump too ran for their lives. The car totally burnt and the fire engulfed the oil station.
Meanwhile it was stated that as soon as the fire caught the oil station, the Disaster Response and fire services department has been informed. Perhaps with the aggravated situation, the oil station personnel have communicated to the local police station. local cops have swung into action and made sure people living in the surrounding locations have been evacuated in no time. Also people residing in the area have been told to vacate and leave the spot. Since there was oil stock lying in the station, cops have taken precautionary measures on time. Hence this said to have saved a lot of human lives. Fortunately, there are no casualties in the major fire accident.
Moreover the fire control engine has arrived and controlled the fire. The officials are ascertaining the incident. Since the incident took place in the the heart of the city i.e on bombay High Way, it cause a great inconvenience to the commuters and it resulted in the huge traffic jam.
