andhra pradesh chief minister YS Jagan mohan reddy attended the cbi court, in connection with alleged disproportionate assets cases a short while ago. They are likely to spend two hours there.
Security has been beefed up ahead of the ap CM’s appearance before the cbi special court judge on the 12th floor of Gagan vihar building on the bustling Nampally-MJ Market road. Jagan last appeared before the court on march 15th and since then, he is seeking personal exemptions in the name of election Campaign and later on the name of his duties as the Chief Minister.
On january 3rd, the judge expressed his anger on trying to intentionally delay the proceedings. He passed an order that both Mr. reddy and Vijayasai reddy should appear before the court during the next hearing which falls on Friday. So, Jagan is left with no option but to attend the court today. Security has been beefed up from Begumpet airport to cbi court ahead of Jagan's visit. Extensive security arrangements are made at the court building as well.
