andhra pradesh Endowments minister Vellampalli srinivas lashed out telugu desam party chief N chandrababu naidu for asking people of the state to stop celebrating auspicious festival Sankranti. Vellampalli lit the ritualistic bhogi bonfire near Indrakeelaadri Kanaka Durga temple in Vijayawada.

 

"The State government led by chief minister YS Jagan mohan reddy has allocated Rs 7 crore for the sankranti celebrations. It is unfortunate that Chandrababu is trying to make use of the most important festival sankranti for his political benefit. Maybe he is very upset as all sections of people are happy under the congress PARTY' target='_blank' title='ysr congress-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>ysr congress party ruling, and the state is taking giant steps towards development and growth in all sectors under the efficient ruling of ap cm," Vellampalli said.

 

It is known to our readers that chandrababu naidu on bhogi day staged a protest and threw papers with the GN Rao Committee and Boston Group Reports written on it, in the bonfires set as part of bhogi celebrations as a mock burning of the recommendation reports. Chandrababu's family announced not celebrating the sankranthi festival as a mark of protest against the government tormenting the farmers of Amaravati.
