Politics in regional parties always surround around their President. We have many examples in the history. Daggupati and Nara groups exist when NTR was lived in Telugu Desam, Raj and Uddav Thakarey in Shiv Sena, Stalin and Aligiri in DMK and now Sharmila and Jagan in YSRCP. YSR Family inside war turns to become public now. It’s open secret that terms and conditions between Jagan and Sharmila are very thin regarding Kadapa Segment.
Sharmila worked for the party when YS Jagan was in prison in 2012. Her long marathon activated and rejuvenates the cadre. YSRCP was suffered with as many groups as exist in Chittoor district. There are four groups including Jagan, Sharmila, Peddireddy and Midhun Reddy in the district. Group politics were erupted out when Jagan conducted his Odarpu last week in Thamballapalle Segment. Jagan is getting angry on Sharmila group leaders in his tour. He gave direct warning to Sharmila group.
Groups has reached peak when Odarpu enters into B.KothaKota region. More flexis and banners appeared in the name of different leaders. M. Ranga Reddy is working for the YSRCP since its inception with his own funds in Thamballapalle Segment. In the meantime, Praveen Kumar Reddy joined in YSRCP. This got inconvenience to the leaders who already existing in YSRCP. M. Ranga Reddy ordered 30 YSR statues with cost of 50k each to launch during his odarpu. Ranga Reddy has no chance to appear when the statues were inaugurated. This makes angry to his followers and shouted slogans in favor of Ranga Reddy. Irritated Jagan warn the Ranga Reddy strictly. Reportedly, Ranga Reddy belongs to Sharmila and Anil group. If Ranga Reddy is not received YSRCP ticket in this segment, his followers will ready to defeat Praveen Kumar in the elections.
