Washington sources reported that President donald trump again offers to 'help' resolve kashmir issue as he said he was "talking about the situation in Kashmir" with pakistan prime minister Imran Khan. trump and imran khan, who had a meeting on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, had a word on Kashmir's ongoing issue as well.

Meanwhile trump said that the US is watching 'very closely' developments between india and Pakistan. The president also called Imran as his "very good friend." He said "We're talking about kashmir and in relation to what's going on with pakistan and India.. if we can help, we certainly will be helping. We've been watching that and following it very, very closely". Apparently imran khan replied that his country has "always hoped" that the US plays a part in resolving the issue. "India is a big issue for us in pakistan and we always hoped that the US would play a part in resolving the issue because no other country can".

Perhaps india has always maintained and kept the kashmir issue an internal matter of the country and never asked or expected help from other countries. trump is yet to visit india in february and it is surprising to see the president meeting imran khan ahead of his visit. Moreover reporters asked trump if he is planning to visit pakistan too. But, he did not give a clear reply to the question asked. However, he concluded that US has never been so close to pakistan than it is right now.
