The cabinet will sit at 9.30 AM tomorrow in Velagapudi secretariat and ratify the resolution to abolish the council. The resolution will be put up in the assembly and will be moved. It will be sent to the central government to complete the formality.
Ahead of the crucial session tomorrow, Opposition leader chandrababu naidu had called for a meeting of the tdp MLAs and MPs in amaravati to decide the game plan tomorrow on the floor of the house. But to the shock of the cycle party, five MLCs have a miss to the meeting saying various reasons.
Gali Saraswathi, KE prabhakar, Thippe Swamy, Satrucharla, ramakrishna have given a miss to the meeting. But tdp is trying to put up a brave face saying that the MLCs have missed the meeting for various reasons and they informed the party well in advance about their issues. Once the assembly moves the resolution to abolish the council, it has to be passed in both the houses of the Parliament. Later President has to approve it. Only then, the council will be scrapped.
