The resolution will now be forwarded to the Central Government. The resolution will now require the approval of both the houses of the indian parliament, followed by the final approval of indian President. While the council will exist until the approval of the President, jagan does not want to continue his ministers from the council until then. This will also put jagan in the ethically right position.
Two Ministers in jagan cabinet - Pilli Subash chandrabose and mopidevi venkata ramana have to resign as they are the members of the council. Rumors are that they will resign as soon as the resolution is passed in the council. jagan reportedly promised them rajya sabha berths now. Both Pilli and Mopidevi are considered loyalists to jagan and the cm promised to take care of their future. Even though there are other aspirants for rajya sabha, both of them will be given priority.
