He sought the permission of the court to allow another accused to represent him in the future court appearances.
"I needed every minute of my time for the Development of the State and so could not attend the court," jagan said. He also brought to the notice of the court that cbi and ED courts did not take somethings into consideration while rejecting the exemption.
jagan is the Accused No 1 in 11 cbi Charge Sheets and Five ED Charge Sheets filed so far in his disproportionate assets cases. Previously, jagan approached the court for exemption in court appearances in cbi cases, now he approached for ED cases. However, the lawyers representing jagan withdrew the petition in the last minute saying that there are some mistakes crept in the petition. They informed the court that they will file a fresh petition correcting the mistakes. On the other side, jagan did not attend the cbi court in Nampally this morning. His lawyers have filed the absent petition on his behalf.
