In what can be termed as a jolt to tdp Circles, Central Investigating Agencies Officials have raided P srinivas Rao, who previously worked as the Personal Secretary of Former chief minister Chandrababu Naidu. Raids are going on at his residence in Vijayawada.
Allegations are that he massed assets more than his income. He disappeared from the radar after tdp lost the recent election. He is currently an officer in the GAD Department of andhra pradesh Government. Political circles are abuzz with the speculations that this could land Chandrababu in trouble as srinivas Rao has the complete knowledge of the misdeeds committed by Chandrababu. srinivas Rao's daughter engagement happened only a few days ago. He ensured that it is a low-key affair so as to avoid public glare. Even then, the department has come knocking at his door.
If that happens, it will only compound the problems of tdp which is already reeling under the pressure of recent humiliating defeat in assembly elections. However, tdp Supporters say this is just Political Vendetta on the tdp Supremo and they can not do anything to their leader who dedicated his life for the service of the state
