coronavirus scare is gripping the entire world. The World health Organization (WHO) declared the Covid-19 outbreak a pandemic with more than 118,000 confirmed cases and 4,291 deaths in 114 countries. India’s count of infected people is 74 with no confirmed deaths so far from the disease.
The government late on wednesday suspended “all existing visas, except diplomatic, official, UN/international organizations, employment, project visas” until april 15. The visa-free travel facility for Overseas Citizen of india (OCI) holders has been suspended until the same date. The curbs go into effect at 1200 GMT on march 13 at the port of departure.
"Over 1,500 people under observation for coming in contact with the positive cases. 10.5 lakh people screened so far at 30 designated airports in India. Though flu is not common in summer, no study or evidence that suggests high temperature kills coronavirus," Union health Ministry said much to the worry of the people. On the other side, Top Pharma companies across the globe say that it would take a minimum of 18 months to ready a vaccine for Coronavirus. If that becomes true, it will be very difficult to control the spread.
