Telangana confirms its third case of deadly coronavirus as a 45 year old man, who returned from Holland, has been tested positive. His samples have been tested at National Institute of Virology, Pune. The senior health official confirmed that the patient is stable and is currently at the isolation ward in gandhi hospital. Also, authorities have quarantined three of his family members and seven others who came into contact with him recently.
On the other hand, the second positive case of telangana, a 24 year old woman from kothagudem is responding well to the treatment. Apart from her, three other members of her contacts were traced and quarantined. The patient has reportedly returned from Italy. Yesterday, a family from Kothapet has been rushed to gandhi hospital as all of the family members are symptomatic to the virus. The integrated surveillance team took the immediate action of taking the family and one of them had gone abroad and returned recently.
Also, another suspected case came to light as 50 year old woman, who returned from dubai is currently at gandhi Hospital. However, her condition has deteriorated on sunday, showing more symptoms pertinent to the virus. Lastly, 28 people who were contacts of 76 year old Kalaburagi man, who became the first person to die in india are being closely observed by telangana authorities.
