telangana had registered five more Corona Positive cases today. That takes the total count to Twenty Six now. chief minister K Chandrasekhara Rao has just announced a complete Lockdown in telangana till march 31st. The chief minister elaborated on how essentials will be given to people of state, especially vulnerable sections.
Free rice of 12 kg for each person of the eligible ration cardholders will be given. Also, Rs 1500 per family will be given for buying other items like tamarind, oil, etc. With this decision, 2.83 Crore people (87.59 lakh white cards) will receive free ration & financial assistance of ₹1500. A Total of ₹2,417 Crores will be borne by Government
During this period, no one should come out of home, and only one person per house will be allowed to go out and buy necessities. Also, during the lockdown period, 100 percent of public transport will be closed. No more than five people should assemble at a point. The government also instructed that private employers, including contractors, must pay labor in these times of crisis. The government also closed all interstate borders except for the movement of essentials.
