telangana government emptied the Old secretariat Building quite a while in the past to demolition it and build a state-of-art secretariat building in its place. The issue is in the high court and has been pending for a while. The State government is presently intending to utilize the secretariat as Isolation Center for coronavirus patients. Very soon, the works will start.
telangana secretariat was housed in Temporary Buildings for a while. The old secretariat has ten gigantic blocks that housed the whole state government organization in Erstwhile Andhra Pradesh. After the state bifurcation, five blocks were designated to andhra pradesh and four to Telangana. The G Block, which is in a dilapidated condition, was left unused.
So far, there are 65 registered cases in Telangana. The cases in the state are on a rise in the last couple of days. The state government is doing everything to reduce the chances of Community Spreading which is the Third Stage. Across the country, the total number of cases crossed the 1000 mark. On the other side, we are in the fourth day of three weeks Nationwide Lockdown to avoid the spread.
