Bollwood superstar salman Khan's charitable work is a pretty known fact to all his fans. Many medically needy people approach salman khan through his charitable organization, Being Human Foundation, which is primarily focused on working in the areas of education and healthcare for the underprivileged. According to the Federation of Western indian Cine Employees (FWICE), Salman  has today pledged to financially support 25,000 daily wage workers from the film industry, who fell victims for the novel coronavirus.

 

The national lockdown has indeed taken a toll on these daily wage workers. With 21-day lockdown as announced by prime minister narendra modi, the sufferings of them are vividly seen and as a kind-hearted person, Sallu Bhai takes a stride to help them.FWICE president B N Tiwari said that the actor has reportedly approached their organization through his Being Human solely to help workers. Tiwari told We have 5 lakh workers out of which 25,000 are in dire need of financial help. Being Human Foundation said they will take care of these workers on their own. They have asked for account details of these 25,000 workers as they want to ensure that money reaches them directly. 

 

Tiwari also confirmed that the remaining 4,75,000 workers can survive for another month as they have huge ration packets for them. He further added that his organization has asked several actors and filmmakers to make a contribution during the lockdown. "We have written letters and also sent messages to many bigwigs in the film industry to come forward and help the workers but we haven't received any response from them. producer Mahaveer Jain has offered to provide help in terms of food and essential items". Last week, a few of the famous personalities have come forward to help like karan johar, taapsee pannu, ayushmann khurrana, kiara advani, rakul preet singh and sidharth malhotra and pledged their support to the daily wage earners through a new initiative, I Stand With Humanity. It was jointly commenced by organisations the international Association for Human Values, the Art of Living Foundation and the indian Film and tv industry and they will provide food supplies required for ten days to all the families of daily wage workers.
