india captain virat kohli opened up on what all he is doing and how he has been spending time at home during the current 21-day lockdown in the country due to the coronavirus pandemic. Currently kohli is at home with wife anushka sharma in mumbai and joined former england captain Kevin Pietersen in a candid chat on Instagram. It was during this that Pietersen asked kohli about the lockdown. kohli said he was grateful to be in self-isolation at his house in mumbai and empathised with all those people who are suffering due to the current situation. These are strange times. We are just grateful we are home and in one place. It would have been difficult had we been on tour during this time.

"We (him and Anushka) went away to a farm before everything got intense. Luckily we have space to walk around in the compound. But I see people just trying to get through these days, It’s tough on everybody. kohli told Pietersen "Just be grateful with what you have. I can feel for people, I see them trying to get through, it's tough to watch".  virat kohli also praised the indian government and the citizens for following the lockdown rules.

"If you are looking to address a larger issue then there is this thing of unity that everyone should have. 80% of the people have followed the lockdown rules but the remaining 20% can cause big problems". When KP asked kohli what he was missing, the indian cricket superstar replied "Not missing anything. My brother messaged me 2 days back saying I’m dying here in gurgaon being stuck in the house. We have a gym there but he never used it. Now he uses it everyday.
