The number of coronavirus cases is increasing at a brisk pace in Andhra Pradesh. Since 9 PM last night to 9 AM this morning, the state registered 32 new cases taking the total number of cases to 226. kurnool district alone registered 23 of these cases, followed by Seven cases in the chittoor district. nellore district has the highest number of cases with 32 cases.
As per the last update of Telangana's previous night, the total cases in the state are 272. Experts say that the number of cases in both the telugu States would increase further next week.
"A majority of the cases from both the telugu States are related to the Nizamuddin Markaz event. We will see a further spike in the next one week, till all the Nizamuddin returnees and their contacts are traced, tested and treated. We should be good if the cases do not go up further after that," the experts say. Let us see what is in store for us maybe by the time the Lockdown is relaxed. On the other side, a total of 1,203,959 cases have been reported worldwide. Also, 64,788 people died.
