Reportedly with the coronavirus outbreak accelerating in Japan’s largest cities, prime minister Shinzo Abe said monday that he will declare a state of emergency in seven prefectures to help slow the spread of the deadly virus. Meanwhile, U.S. Surgeon General Jerome M. Adams warned that this will be “the hardest and saddest week of most Americans’ lives” as the official U.S. death toll approached 10,000. President trump, however, struck a more optimistic tone, saying sunday that “we’re starting to see light at the end of the tunnel.”

 

As per report Japan’s state of emergency will be made official tuesday and will cover tokyo, Osaka and other severely affected areas. people will be asked to stay indoors, but no legal penalties will be imposed for noncompliance. “Even though we will declare a state of emergency, we will not lock cities down as has been done overseas".
