Boris Johnson was put in intensive care for a couple of days at St.Thomas' Hospital. He didn't do any official government work during his recuperation at Chequers. But in the last week, Boris spoke to the queen and US President donald trump to discuss the further steps taken by the UK government to control the pandemic. Now, he returned to Downing Street from his countryside residence in Chequers.

He further added that social distancing measures would be in place at least for some time and refused to set a timetable when the lockdown would be eased.
