Inspite of the exodus of several leaders in the Telangana, political analysts say that TDP is not just confident of retaining its current tally of two Lok Sabha seats it won here in 2009, but is very confident of bagging three more constituencies namely Malkajgiri, Chevella and Mahbubabad due to the changed dynamics after bifurcation of the state. Since Andhra settlers form a majority of electorate in these three constituencies and especially in Chevella, the TDP lost to Jaipal only by over 18,000 votes in the 2009 elections while BJP took away over a lakh of the votes and if the expected alliance works out, Naidu is confident of this seat. TDP's hopes of grabbing the Mahbubabad Lok Sabha seat is linked to it retaining the Khammam seat as sitting MP Nama Nageswar Rao is expected to win again. Though Mahbubabad constituency is from Warangal district, three of its Assembly constituencies like Illendu, Bhadrachalam and Pinapaaka are actually in Khammam which has maximum settlers. The TDP is also confident that it can retain the Adilabad Lok Sabha seat represented by its MP Ramesh Rathore as TRS is very weak in Adilabad and also due to the good work Rathore has done here. The party is also blindly confident of Malkajgiri. Though YSRCP can also expected to win the three of the above, since it doesn't have any cadre it will be advantage TDP here!
