nandamuri Taraka RamaRao alias ntr is the lion of the Andhra Pradesh. ntr has got a huge reputation as the great leader of the masses. thursday is memorable day for telugu people because it’s the birthday of a person who had stolen their hearts. Yes, its NTR’s birthday on Thursday.
Eventhough he is not here with us physically, he is remembered by every person in both telugu states. There are many people who believe that he is one of the greatest personalities not only andhra pradesh in Andhra and telangana but also across the India. A retired professor from Osmania recently said that ntr is alive in everyone’s heart.
NTR was born In the year 1923, on May 28th at Nimmakuru in krishna District. There were many things that many people do not know about ntr since his childhood till his entry in to Film industry. Lets discuss some of those on the occasion of his birthday.
He entered film industry in the year 1949. His first movie is manadesam which was directed by famous director L. V. Prasad. This fact is unknown to many people.
He was born to nandamuri Lakshmayya Chowdary and Venkata Ravamma but was adapted by his own father’s brother. However, ntr did not stay with his own parents for a long time.
He studied in SRR college in Vijayawada. Later he completed his degree from AC college, Guntur. Then he joined madras election Commission.
Many people do not know that, ntr was selected as an A grade government Employee as Sub Registrar in the year 1947. But he could not work there for a long time. He had quit in just 3 months.
He also has campaigned in chennai for elections held in the year 1984. As mgr was hospitilised, he requested his close friend ntr who was AP’s cm then to compaign on behalf of him. mgr was successful in the elections and thanked ntr for his unforgettable help and trust on him.
In the year 1983, after establishing tdp, he had acted in movies like major chandrakanth etc., But after 1978, he did not receive any awards though the films were successful
Not only this, ntr had only received Padmasri through out his career. But many actors who entered film industry after ntr had received Padma Vibhushan as well.
