patna sources stated that an unusual incident happened at a quarantine centre in bihar which rose it to limelight. A 23-year-old migrant man who was kept there is the reason behind it. Furthermore Anup Ojha, had returned from rajasthan and was quarantined at the Manjhwari Quarantine Centre in Buxar. Sounds all familiar, right? Now, here lies the story. This young man's diet has been a cause of worry for the cooks at the institutional quarantine centre. He was reported to be consuming 40 rotis (chapatis) for breakfast and around eight to 10 plates of rice during lunch every day, as reported by a leading daily.

Unbelievable right? The local administration on being alerted decided to visit the facility during the lunch hours. They indeed found the man consuming that much quantity of food. They said that the amount he consumed would have at least fed 10 people a day. We were informed that a bihar delicacy ‘litti’ (a dough ball made of wheat flour and stuffed with roasted chickpea) was prepared for the migrant staying in the quarantine centre, Ojha ate 85 littis that day. The cook, who prepares roti, is now tired of preparing so many chapatis for one particular individual. So, we decided to get a first-hand account of this person and his diet,” said the Block Development Officer (BDO) AK Singh was quoted saying by the leading daily.

Reportedly, the administration acted when it was reported that food grains and other eatables were running out of stock despite few migrants in the facility. The matter reached the headquarters when they were informed about Ojha. His quarantine period is about to come to an end and administration have instructed the cook that he should not be deprived of food nor his diet should be slashed.
