Former firebrand lady minister Konda Surekha and her politician husband Konda Murali will reportedly take a plunge into the Telangana Rashtra Samithi. Sources say that the Konda couple has reportedly met TRS senior leaders in Hyderabad recently.
At one point, sources say their entry was almost finalized.TRS chief KCR has reportedly consented to give Warangal (East) ticket to Surekha while Murali has been assured of MLC ticket after the elections.
The firebrand couple who were once the trusted loyalists of YSRCP later moved into Congress but they are reportedly upset at the infighting within Congress ranks in their Parkal constituency.
Sources also say that Surekha and Murali tried to get into the TDP and approached Chandrababu Naidu but due to resistance from arch rival Errabelli Dayakar Rao, Naidu couldn't consent to their request and now they are all set to join TRS.
