Usually politicians and second line leaders serve people only two months before election. But this mla serves after winning also. It is nothing that politicians are to serve people but not beyond their health and safety.
Srikakulam district Palakonda mla viswasarayi kalavathi stood as an example of such cases. With her father Narsimha Dora’s support she entered elections and contested in 2009 elections behalf of Praja Rajyam. But when praja rajyam merged with congress, she joining ycp and contested once again. She won the 2014 elections with a slight difference. Once she became mla, she helped many poor people. She never said no to people who approached her for help. With that good name, she defeated her opponent Nimmaka Jaya krishna once again with a huge majority of 18, 000 votes.
During lockdown , she is helping migrant workers and providing food for needy. This time Nimmaka Jaya krishna is working hard to win elections. On the other side, mla Kalavathi has not shined in media more when compared to others of her competitors. This may slowdown her in next elections as expected by political experts.
