The number of patients discharged from hospitals in the last 24 hours stood at 40, taking the sum total to 2,209. The death toll in the state remains unchanged at 64 and there are 927 active cases in the state. The cumulative positive cases reported from foreign returnees stood at 112, while those from other states stood at 479, the bulletin read. In terms of number of samples tested, andhra pradesh Andhra continues to be on top among the states with regard to testing of samples per million people. The state is testing 7,410 samples per million on average while the national average stands at 2,859. tamil Nadu occupies second position with 6,537 tests per million and rajasthan in third position with 5,512 tests per million.
