amaravathi sources stated that andhra pradesh health minister alla nani said medical emergency services 104 and 108 will be launched from July this year and 1,060 ambulances have been kept ready for the purpose. Meanwhile he said that as many as 16 new medical colleges will be set up in the state and the construction of these colleges will be completed in the next three years.  

 

There are currently 11 colleges in the state. nani visited a 59-acre site for the proposed medical college at paderu on Wednesday. Later, he inspected 32-acre site for a proposed medical college at Golagam in anakapalle constituency. "One medical college will be set up in every parliamentary constituency". He said that the district and area hospitals in  parliamentary constituencies will be converted to teaching hospitals and it will also include dental education.

 

A notification in this regard to recruit doctors and other medical personnel will be issued, he said. He also said that primary medical care will be made available in ward and village secretariats. The health minister assured that in anakapalle hospital, there will be no staff shortage. Stay tuned for more updates.
