TRS has decided to go to the general elections lonely without any having any alliance. Earlier, there are doubts on TRS would prefer to go alliance with Congress any time after local body elections. This has ruled out after KCR starts announcing TRS candidates in Ministers Segments. Congress prefers to go alliance with CPI and New Democracy in the elections. Like JAC, There are many aspirants who want to get benefit politically after involving in the agitation.
Telangana United Front (TUF) leader Vimalakka has showed very much interest to stand in the general elections from Sirisilla Assembly Segment. She will contest as RLD (Rastriya Lok Dal) candidate from Sirisilla. There is strong reason for her to select this segment. Sirisilla is the native of her husband CPI(ML) leader Amar. Reportedly, she maintains relations with the people in the segment.
KTR will confirm again from Sirisilla Segment. KTR has won this segment with just margin of 171 votes in 2009 general elections against TRS rebel KK Mahendra Reddy where as he won again with massive majority in 2010 bye-elections. Congress has planned to field KK Mahendra Reddy as its candidate. Pro-Telangana votes would divide among the three. TDP is now observed all these developments and plan to field from Cotton Weavers family as its candidate to fetch the segment.
