andhra pradesh deputy chief minister k narayana swamy and his family have decided to undergo home quarantine after two security personnel at his residence in puttur tested positive for the COVID-19. After they tested positive, the deputy cm and his family underwent SARS-nCOV tests and their results came out negative. However, they have decided to undergo home quarantine for 10 days to be on safe side.

He was shifted to an isolation ward in Viswa bharathi hospital near K.Nagalapuram in Kurnool. Another Ruling party mla from Srungavarapukota, kadubandi srinivasa rao had also tested positive for coronavirus in the vizianagaram district. Along with the mla, his personal security officer had also tested positive for COVID-19.
Meanwhile, andhra pradesh has recorded 793 Positive cases in the past 24 hours, among which 81 are from the people of other states and foreign returnees. The remaining 706 cases are native. Three Hundred and Two patients have been discharged in the last 24 hours, and there are ten deaths as well. The deaths are consistently over ten in the last few days, which is a cause of worry. The total cases in the state are 13,891. If we consider only native cases, the count is 11,554.
