andhra pradesh has tested 10,17,140 people for COVID-19, as of today. the state continues to stay on top among all the states in india with the highest number of tests/million done. andhra pradesh is the third state to cross the One Million Tests mark in the entire country.
On the other side, Despite the best measures of the government, andhra pradesh had recorded its biggest ever spike in the Corona cases with a whopping 998 Positive cases, among which 37 are from the people of other states and foreign returnees. The remaining 961 cases are native.
Three Hundred and Ninty One patients have been discharged from various hospitals of the state in the last 24 hours, and there are fourteen deaths as well. The total cases in the state are 18,697. If we consider only native cases, the count is 16,102. The state has become the third state in the country to cross a landmark of One Million tests. With 232 deceased and 8,422 discharged, there are 10,043 active cases. Krishna, guntur, and Anantapur are the Top Four districts. There are 416 foreign returnees and 2,179 positive cases from other states.
