Despite the best measures taken up by the State government, the Corona Crisis in andhra pradesh seems to be slipping out of hands. The state has recorded around 2000 cases and thirty-seven deaths in the past 24 hours. Going into the details, the state had recorded a whopping 1,935 Positive cases, among which 16 are from the people of other states and foreign returnees.
The remaining 1,919 cases are native. east godavari alone registered more than 300 cases in a single day which is shocking. One Thousand and Thirty patients have been discharged in the last 24 hours, and there are Thirty-Seven deaths as well. The total cases in the state are 31,103. If we consider only native cases, the count is 28,255. With 365 deceased and 16,464 discharged, there are 14,274 active cases.
kurnool, guntur, Anantapur, east godavari, and chittoor are the Top Five districts. There are 432 foreign returnees and 2,416 positive cases from other states. According to the Ministry of health and Family Welfare (this morning bulletin), the total number of cases in the country are 878,254 with 23,174 deaths. maharashtra, delhi, tamil Nadu, and gujarat are the major contributors.
